The Tsukuba Model United Nations Workshop was held

On March 20, the Tsukuba Model United Nations Workshop was held with the participation of sixty-six high school students from Ibaraki and other prefectures. Students who participated in the National Model United Nations Conference in Washington, D.C., U.S.A. last November gave lectures and presentations on their experiences, and the participating students learned the joys and difficulties of negotiation through group discussions. Through the activities of listening, thinking, and speaking about international issues in English, it was a good opportunity for the high school students to reconfirm the skills they need to play an active role in the international community in the future.
